Welcome
A Little About Me

My name is Ms. Amanda "Mandy" Brown. I have two children. Will is a graduate of Mater Dei High School and is currently a student at Vincennes University studying Conservation Law and a MP in the Army National Guard. Jay is a student here at St. James and is currently in second grade. We have four pets; two dogs (Lucy and Buddy) and two cats (Fuzz and Lucky). Our favorite things to do include anything outside. We like to camp, backpack, fish, kayak, geocache and shoot archery.
I began my career in education in 1998 as a preschool teacher. I completed an Associate of Science degree in Education from Pasco-Hernando Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and English Language Learning from the University of South Florida, and a Master of Science in Exceptional Student Education from Nova Southeastern University. I have taught Kindergarten through Fifth Grade and was also an administrator for two Early Childhood Education Centers.
My goal is to support the all students, families, and teachers here at St. James School.
